Backflow preventer according to EN 1717
Used in water supply to prevent contaminated water from entering buildings.
Forged brass housing, yellow (nickel-plated) version, brass in accordance with EN 12420.
Plastic valve (POM) and seal with rubber O-rings (NBR).
Stainless steel spring; opening pressure approx. 0,02 bar.
Two threaded openings with 1/4 brass plugs, before and after the flap, for inspection.
Threaded connection inside and outside the semi-open nut, type G, according to ISO 228/ISO 7.
Sealing with rubber gaskets (EPDM).
All elements in contact with water shall be made of physiologically safe materials.
Maximum operating temperature: 95 ºC
Minimum operating temperature: -10 ºC (water 0,5 ºC)
Maximum working pressure: 16 bar
