The thermostat should be mounted on an interior wall at an appropriate height, away from direct heat sources, draughts, or direct sunlight.

Wiring options (wiring diagrams):

Connection to a gas or other boiler:

Connecting the volt-free contacts COM and NO directly to the boiler's control terminals.
Control of a pump or thermal actuator:

Connecting the 230 V live phase conductor via the thermostat's COM and NO contacts to the load (pump/actuator, max. 3 A).
Connection to an underfloor heating wiring centre:

Connecting COM and NO contacts to the respective zone input (L and SL1) of the wiring centre.
