The Thermiq SoloFlow controller offers flexible operation in two main application modes:

1. Central heating pump control:

   • The pump switches ON when the water temperature in the boiler exceeds the user-defined temperature setpoint (adjustable range 5 °C – 75 °C).

   • When the temperature drops below the set value minus hysteresis (2 °C), the pump automatically switches OFF, preventing unnecessary pump operation and system cooling.

2. Hot water cylinder pump control or safety thermostat:

   • The controller monitors the temperature in the hot water cylinder or at the boiler outlet.

   • When the temperature exceeds the set maximum limit value U (adjustable range 10 °C – 90 °C), the controller switches OFF the pump, preventing overheating of the hot water.

Additional advanced features:

• Acoustic alarm: An integrated sound warning is activated if the safe boiler temperature (90 °C) is exceeded or in the event of a short circuit/fault in the temperature sensor.

• Anti-block protection (Anti-stop): Outside the heating season, the controller automatically turns ON the pump every 14 days for 15 seconds, preventing limescale buildup and rotor seizure.

• Frost protection (Anti-frost): If the sensor temperature drops below 5 °C, the controller runs the pump continuously to prevent water from freezing in the pipework.

• Manual test mode: Ability to immediately switch the pump ON or OFF by simultaneously pressing buttons to verify the correct operation of the connected equipment.
