3 F820 35
The EVOLIO 230 V wired room thermostat is designed for precise control of underfloor or radiator heating and cooling systems, offering up to four time programs per day. Thanks to advanced TRIAC semiconductor technology, it operates completely noiselessly without mechanical clicks, making it ideal for bedrooms and living spaces. The advanced TPI algorithm and adjustable hysteresis ensure high energy efficiency and stable maintenance of the set temperature. It also features automatic heating/cooling changeover, a night setback (NSB) function, as well as protection against valve sticking and unauthorized adjustment of settings.

The EVOLIO programmable wired room thermostat is a modern, advanced device designed for precise control of heating or cooling systems (especially underfloor heating and radiators) with a direct 230 V AC power supply. It features completely silent operation, fast startup, and adaptability to the user's daily routine.
Key features and benefits:
-
Noiseless switching (TRIAC technology): The integrated semiconductor output (TRIAC) ensures completely silent operation without mechanical clicks, making the thermostat ideal for bedrooms and children's rooms.
-
Heating / Cooling changeover: Allows automatic or manual switching between heating and cooling modes. When connected to a wiring centre via the CO input, the thermostat automatically adapts its operating mode to match the overall system.
-
Customizable schedules: Enables programming of up to 4 time periods (programs) per day with minute-level precision and flexible temperature settings for each period. Schedules can easily be duplicated across days of the week.
-
Night setback function (NSB): In manual mode, it allows automatic reduction of the set temperature via an external 230 V signal at the CO terminal (connected to a time programmer on the wiring centre).
-
System protection functions (VP and ANTISTOP): Built-in protective functions periodically actuate valves and the pump to prevent seizing and limescale buildup during periods of inactivity (e.g. during summer).
-
Advanced security: Includes a keypad lock function (with optional PIN code protection) and the ability to configure minimum and maximum target temperature limits.

EC Compliance
By affixing the CE mark, the manufacturer declares that HERZ Thermiq complies with the following relevant safety regulations:
• EU Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU
• EU Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU
• EU RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU
• EU WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU (Reg. No. DE 23479719)
Compliance has been verified, and the corresponding documentation and EU Declaration of Conformity are kept by the manufacturer.

Installation must be performed by a qualified professional with appropriate electrical qualifications in accordance with applicable regulations. The thermostat is intended for surface/wall mounting in dry indoor environments.
Connection terminals (Terminal description):
• L / N: 230 V AC mains power supply (L - live phase, N - neutral).
• SL: 230 V AC control output for connection to a thermal actuator or wiring centre input (max. 2 A).
• CO: 230 V AC control input for Heating/Cooling changeover or night setback (NSB) activation.
Wiring options (Wiring diagrams):
-
Direct connection to a thermal actuator: Connect live phase to L, neutral to N, and the actuator across SL and N.
-
Connection to an underfloor heating wiring centre: Connect L, N, and SL terminals of the thermostat to the respective zone inputs on the wiring centre.
-
Connection with automatic Heating/Cooling changeover: The CO terminal of the thermostat is connected to the CO output of the wiring centre. Upon receiving a 230 V signal, the thermostat switches to cooling mode.
-
Connection with night setback function (NSB): The CO terminal connects via a timer/programmer; when a 230 V signal is received in manual mode, the thermostat automatically lowers the temperature by the configured value.
