HERZ stainless steel manifolds are designed for use in underfloor, wall, and ceiling heating and cooling systems. They are used in combination with HERZ shut-off or ball valves for optimal system performance. The compact design allows easy installation in distribution cabinets or directly on the wall. Integrated air vent and drain valves enable quick venting and system drainage.

The manifolds are compatible with other HERZ components, allowing flexible system planning. Various models are available with different numbers of heating circuits. High-quality materials ensure long service life and resistance to corrosion.
Technical Data:
  • Nominal pressure: max. 6 bar
  • Max. operating temperature: 70°C
  • Min. operating temperature: 2°C
  • Mixing ratio of propylene glycol: 25–50%

Medium:

Heating water according to ÖNORM H5195 or VDI-Standard 2035. The use of ethylene or propylene glycol in a 25-50% mixing ratio is allowed. Lubricants based on mineral oils may affect EPDM seals and cause their failure. When using ethylene glycol products for frost and corrosion protection, please refer to the manufacturer’s documentation before use.

Features:
  • Automatic air venting
  • System filling and draining via ball valve
  • Flow reading through each heating branch using a flow meter (3 l/min or 6 l/min, depending on the model)
  • G3/4" euro cone connection for pipe attachment

Flow Meters:
Factory setting is fully open. The set flow rate can be read directly through the inspection glass. To adjust the flow rate, use the plastic adjustment key on top of the serrated part and turn it clockwise or counterclockwise.

Drain and Fill Ball Valves:
The ball valve at the end of each manifold bar is used for system filling and draining. A brass garden hose connection is attached for hose connection. A sealing cap (G3/4" according to ISO228-1) is included for additional sealing of the ball valve.

Thermostatic Valves M28x1.5:
Opened by spring force, they can be closed using a protective cap, manual actuator, or thermal actuator. Protective caps are factory-installed for mechanical protection during installation and must be replaced with appropriate electric or manual actuators after system startup. Thermostatic tops can be equipped with manual actuator 1 9102 80 or thermal actuators (available in 24V or 230V, NC or NO variants), which must be ordered separately. They can be controlled by a room thermostat or wireless control system, described in separate technical sheets.

Note: Thermostatic valves and flow meters are not shut-off valves. Unused heating loops must be closed with a cap at the outlet.

Automatic Air Vent:
An automatic air vent is integrated into the supply and return manifold end unit, allowing for automatic system deaeration.

Mounting Brackets:
HERZ manifolds can be mounted directly onto a wall or inside a cabinet using the supplied brackets. Mounting position is flexible.

Compatibility:
The manifolds are compatible with all HERZ components, including HERZ PIPEFIX adapters, shut-off, and ball valves. Use of HERZ shut-off valves is recommended for optimal system performance.

HERZ floor heating manifolds allow quick and easy installation in a distribution cabinet or directly on the wall. The integrated brackets ensure stable attachment and flexible mounting positioning.

All connection threads must be sealed with appropriate seals to prevent leaks. When connecting pipes, the use of HERZ PIPEFIX adapters is recommended for easy installation. After installation, it is necessary to check the proper operation of all valves and air vents. Maintenance includes regular inspection of valve functionality and removal of any impurities.
